The temperatures are still hot but should be down to 99 by Friday. The lower temperatures are freezing. Lol They feel so good but it is like walking in 30 degree temps. We had a Orthodox Chaplain visit the last four days so I was able to participate in services. Other than that everything is the same. Please take care and God Bless. -Tony
I wanted to take the time to let you know how much I really appreciate you for sending care packages to Camp Morehead. We are humbled by the outpouring of support from so many great Americans. We are so blessed to be able to say that our fellow Americans support us. I’ve been in the military for over 22 years and the military members haven’t always felt like we were respected and that everyone really cared about us. This is definitely not the case today, thanks to people like you. We have really enjoyed everything that you have sent us and even though I get to go home to my family soon there will still be a continued mission here so your future support can be sent directly to the Morale, Welfare, and recreation (MWR) Center and Camp Morehead. Again thanks for all you do for the Troops. -Sean
Thanks so much for all of your support this past year. Thanks so much for being a part of our squad and helping us out. I hope your organization can continue helping other soldiers like us. -Josh
Thanks for all your support. I appreciate all the treats. -Scott
This deployment would have been much more difficult without such amazing support, we thank you very much. -SPC B.
Thank you for everything you have given through your program. Your donations have made our time here easier to bear. -Adam
Thank you thank you for all the wonderful, tasty, useful treats over this deployment. I really appreciate the support and sacrifice. -John
Thank you for all your support. I really enjoyed all the care packages. It was like Christmas every time we got packages. -SPC M.
I hope God blesses you with some wonderfully kind stranger who takes as good a care as you did us. We had a lot of fun reading letters from you and we really enjoyed the packages. Thank you. -SSG O.
We received yet another package from your group, and I wish to again express my appreciation for all of your efforts to military and it’s Soldiers. When I read these letters and receive these thanks, I feel humbled. Part of this is likely due to my three children and my wonderful wife. She chooses to put up with the long hours and years away at a time. Others, like yourself, CHOOSE to be grateful and supportive of our nation’s military. When we receive these care packages and heartfelt thanks, I feel, again, humbled. It’s almost as if we are celebrities. I look forward to continuing to correspond with you and your organization. Thank you, yet again, for your kindness and appreciation. Take care. -Marcus
Thanks for your continuous support. -Paul
Everything is going fine here. Yesterday we held a 9-11 Memorial Service. It was very nice and give you time to reflect on why we are staying so involved in this fight. I received your package and please tell everyone Thank You so much. I enjoyed reading all the postcards and letters. All the items were great and we cannot say thank you enough for all you and others there provide for us. Please take care and God Bless.-Tony
Thanks for all your support as always. -Jason
From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank all the families and friends for all your support thus far. Remember your Soldiers volunteered to support and defend their nation and in doing so often times put themselves in harm way. Thanks again for all of your support. I received another package from you today. I broke it down for the soldiers. Within minutes it was completely gone. I know I have said this before, but I truly mean it when I say you’re an angel out here for my company. Conditions have gotten a lot better than when we originally came out here. We are finally living in a hard stand building and shower facility. Unfortunately, I still work in a tent, typing away with mice crawling underneath the desk. We have only a few months more left in theater and my soldiers can hardly wait to get out of here. This past month was hard on my company as we lost one of our soldiers. Let me just tell you that nothing prepares for handling events such as this. It was hard on everyone including me. Thanks again for your support. -Cheryl
