Want to Help?
$$: Financially, we are in need of shipping funds for sending care packages overseas.
Donations of items to fill care packages: It’s starting to get hot and the sandstorms are kicking up…plus we’ve got a few groups without access to a supply store on base…so we’re getting additional requests for and in need of: Lip Balm/Chapstick, New Bandanas, Protein Bars, Drink Mix Packets, Toothpaste, and Floss.
Easter Chocolate and Coffee…
We are placing the order for Seroogy chocolate on April 1st…profits are helping to ship Easter boxes overseas. If you didn’t get a chance to order…HURRY! Let me know if you need the list of items/prices to treat your taste buds 🙂

The Latest Responses from our Troops overseas…
Hope all is well in WI. We received the packages you and the community has sent us and the guys here are always excited to see what’s inside they really love the snacks and the little gifts but they are always wanting to hear what you and the community want to tell them. They feel good about themselves knowing that people actually care about what they are doing and the cause behind it, once again my friend thank you for the goodies and God bless you all stay safe and warm as I know the winter doesn’t want to leave the states. -Eric

I can’t believe how warm it is already. We’ve been getting a lot of wind storms this past two weeks and it kicks up all kinds of dirt and sand into the air. Some days it makes it hard to breath, I’m really glad that I’m in the city, I can only imagine how bad it is in the open roads between cities. We are all doing pretty well right now on candy and treats but we can always use simple food like protein bars. As always I so glad that there are people like you who are willing to keep supporting us through this long conflict, hopefully there will come a day when we can all rest and have some peace filled days to enjoy with our families and friends. Best wishes, Joshua

I wanted to thank you and all the volunteers at mission soldier adoption. We appreciate all that you all do. I think the neck coolers you mentioned might be nice now that we are heading into the warm months. Well thank you again. Semper Fi, James

As the seasons have changed here in Sharana I never stop being amazed at the level of Human kindness and the spirit of charity that is constantly expressed by the American People. The soldiers of Task Force Gambler are a truly blessed organization and I am told over and over again by soldiers that it is the simple pleasures of life that get them through the work day. The coffee has been wonderful and the snacks, popcorn, trail mix, beef jerky, cookies, and other goodies is a great reminder of the wonderful efforts concern and thankfulness that so many of you have provided for us here. Thank you for all that you do to help us and support us. -Edward

On behalf of the Battalion Commander, I would like to thank you for supporting the 3rd Brigade Special Troop Battalion during our recent deployment to Iraq. Your assistance and dedication to supporting our Armed Forces is greatly appreciated. I appreciate all the time and effort that you and your organization put into each care package, providing much needed snacks, personal hygiene products and other morale boosting items. Thank you so much for the generous and thoughtful gifts. Again, thank you so much for your support and prayers. I sincerely appreciate your generosity. Best regards, Benjamin

Once again, and I cannot say it enough, THANK YOU to everyone who has taken time out of your busy schedule as well as money out of their pocket to send stuff out to my Marines and myself. All of your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated. Well we are almost 2 months into the deployment and things are going pretty well considering where we are. A lot of the guys out here are getting into a “rhythm” of in work, eat, workout/PT, work, eat. Etc. All of the packages sent out have brought a little piece of home, as well as BOOST morale. A lot of the younger guys tear into those things like its Christmas day when they were kids, haha. So once again, thanks to EVERYONE for EVERYTHING sent out. Thanks for everything that you do for us as well, all the troops out here. You all make a HUGE difference in the morale and attitude of everyone out here! Little update, my 6 month old daughter just started crawling and saying “Da Da DAD!!” That is AWESOME!!!!! -David

Hello from Afghanistan. Outside right now it’s raining but all and all it’s a pretty nice day. For the most part it feels like spring, but I feel it won’t stay like this for long. I would like to say thank you to everyone who contributed to this care package. It really does mean a lot to us over here to get things like that from good people like you. If you send more here we would appreciate it if you would send item 2. We all love trail mix here and the honey roasted nuts. I honestly think what your doing is amazing, I don’t even know how to tell you how much we all appreciate what you do for soldiers like us. Thank you so much, Lauren

Thanks again for all your support out here. We received all your packages. The temperatures are going up and this week it is in the 80’s. Needless to say it’s going to get hot here fast. This week I passed out all the root beer remaining and boxes. The body sprays disappeared within minutes of giving the boxes out to the platoons. Thanks again for your support. Always, Cheryl

We have been absolutely SLAMPACKED with business and each day seems to run into the next. Next thing you know a month has passed. Lol I suppose that is one way to pass the time! 😉 The root beer from Sprecher was OH-SO-Delicious… I gave a box to our mail people (Since they bring so much joy to each day) 🙂 One to the Ugandans who man our gates, and one to our special forces team. We kept one for ourselves of course. 😉 It made the most AMAZING… root beer float. Hee hee. 😉 Thank you for sending that our way. The guys are still pluggin away at those peanuts. 😉 Makes the perfect snack on the long flight days. 😉 Thank you for all that YOU do! -Cory
Have a great day and thanks again for helping us help those who help us 🙂
