This month alone, with help from all of you, our fabulous donors, 103 packages were sent to our Troops overseas!
~Mollie & Vickie
Here are some Thank You’s in their words…
We just moved to setup a new base and don’t have internet there. We are starting from scratch but it is coming along. We really appreciate all the boxes we have received in the last month. Its getting cold here and has snowed a couple of times on our base. With setting up a new base we are building everything from the ground up. We could use any kind of things for winter or for new places. Well just wanted to update again. Again, we really appreciate everything we have received. -Jeff
We had a great time picking out some make up and lotions. Nothing makes us feel more girly than getting made up down range. Thank you so very much. -Wall
It was great to receive all of the make-up. Some times we want to feel like a woman!
Thank you so much for your kindness and support of the 240th Company. The beauty products that you sent from Mary Kay were a big hit with the females in our company. -Elle
I did receive 3 packages and they all came in today. I have already distributed the contents to the Marines and we are eternally grateful for your support this year. -Russell
I actually just received a package from you yesterday and was JUST in the process of writing and telling you thank you so much!! 😉 I wrote Jacob already and let him know how absolutely wonderful it was for him to gather the items for such amazing packages for soldiers overseas. What character it takes to think about others in this way and we were all just so thankful. He is so young! I wish him the best of luck in his boy scout endeavors. 😉 I haven’t had a Capri Sun in so long! Lol Aaaaaaah the little things in life Haha. 😉 Thank you so much Mollie for all of the thought and time you put into so many people out there. It is so special to us… so special to me and you are so appreciated. -Cory
Mollie and all those who donated, the care packages were handed out and the soldiers are very thankful! I am very appreciative of all the continuous support you guys give! Thank you again, Ashley.
Thanks for sending the package. It helps bring a smile to our faces as it fills our bellies. We are very grateful for the support that people like you are showing us. As for us we are doing quite well right now. The biggest thing we have to contend with right now is the cold. Most of us are starting to look forward to each day cause we have made it past the half way point in the deployment so each day down is a day closer to going home. Thank you. -Matthew
I just received your box yesterday and it had a lot of good stuff in it. Thanks -Ben
I just wanted to take a few seconds out of my busy schedule to thank you for all that you do for our service men and women. The packages you send are always a welcome sight. Both myself and all of my soldiers in my platoon are grateful. It is because of great Americans like yourself and your devotion to the service members that make it easier for us to leave our families and our homes, to serve this great country. Please tell everyone that is involved in the support of our service members that every soldier that is touched by your kindness is grateful. Gratefully, Brian
Thanks for a great Christmas season. We received a surplus of stockings filled with goodies and every Marine was able to get one. Things have been going pretty good here. The PX truck is showing up about once a month which is great and the locals have started picking up some of the items in the market that we’ve been asking for (they even have American Red Bulls!). I have sincerely enjoyed all of the support you have shown my Marines. Thank you again -Matt
I just wanted to thank you for your care packages to my female soldiers. Their looks when I passed out the box to the 24 soldiers was priceless. Even my non-girly soldiers were reaching out to grab the products. You’re an angel. We are at a remote marine base. There are a few Army folks besides the 500 in the battalion I am in. There are British & Danish here as well which makes it interesting. God Bless, Cheryl
I want to say thank you so very much for the care package that you sent. It is very much appreciated. It was set out in our HHC building and soldiers came and took what they wanted. They were all very thankful. Thanks, Ashley
Last week was a sad one for the BN I fall under as a sister company lost two Soldiers who were hit with an IED. It’s really shocking when you are here on the ground and something like this happens. The rank ceremony was on Saturday/Sunday and the memorial service is scheduled for the 9th. Thanks again for all your support. -Cheryl
I just got Jake’s package yesterday. Thanks for everything. -Linda
